Location: Villa Flandria is established in Vrisnik, a small picturesque village situated on the sunny isle of Hvar.  Vrisnik is known for his olive groves, lavender fields and vineyards.  The nice sea view and the wonderful environment around Villa Flandria is very soothing.  Vrisnik is also situated very central : within 5 minutes you reach beautiful small port town of Jelsa, within 10 minutes you reach the southside of the isle.
The isle of Hvar has a very warm climate with about 3.000 sunshine hours per year.  There is no industry and the sea is azure.  According to captain Cousteau it is one of the 10 most beautiful islands in the world.  For those who love sun, sea and a splendid nature it is a recommend the whole year through.  It's also very agreeable for hikers and bikers; there are several exquisite guided trajects.  The isle can be reached by ferry from Ancona and Pescara (1 x per day) or from Split and Drvenik (several times per day).  In the isle of Hvar the ferry arrives in Starigrad, about 9 km from Vrisnik or in Jelsa, 3.5 km from Vrisnik.
